It is often difficult to judge the success or failure of the investment made at a trade exhibition. However it was clear that the recent Southern Manufacturing Exhibition has surpassed many expectations. Stephen Blythe, Hansatech’s commercial director, commented “The main reason we chose to exhibit at Southern Manufacturing was to attract new customers based in the south of England. Our sales team came away with a number of leads which have already produced RFQs and delivered a new order within two days of being back at the factory in Poole.”
The Southern Manufacturing event also gives an opportunity to meet supply chain partners and investigate new sources of services and technology. Paul Gill, Hansatech’s managing director said “There was a real energy about the show. It was good to hear so many upbeat stories from the manufacturing sector in the South”.
