Factory Layout Improves Efficiency

Hansatech are undertaking a major re-layout of their 20,000 sq ft factory in Poole.
The project is being lead by Sam Worth, Hansatech's newly appointed assembly manager.
The project is due for completion in June and is expected to improve efficiency in product flow.
Sam explained, "Not only does the new layout reflect the true nature of the way that the diverse products flowed through the factory, it has provided the business with a very agile platform to service the dynamics of the customer base. The consolidation of certain areas has freed up another 15% of shop floor space which is intended to support the growth in larger capital contracts in 2010."
